Tazz def. Jerry "The King" Lawler (0:31)
I think everyone knew this was gonna be short. And watching Joey Styles get involved was awesome. Tazzmission...match over.
Kurt Angle def. Randy Orton (15:09)
As much of a dick Orton is backstage, he always puts on a good match. And when he's in the ring with Kurt Angle, you know a great match is coming. This one was an instant classic. The two worked extremely well together in this match...which was the real opening match of the PPV. And nothing extreme was needed.
The FBI def. Super Crazy and Tajiri (12:25)
I must note that I was very happy to see Tajiri back in the ring. For those who don't know, he left WWE a few months back to go home to Japan, but he was one of the first to sign up for this special PPV. He had a great partner in Super Crazy and they both worked well with the FBI. The double Tarantula spot was the big highlight of this one.

Rey Mysterio vs. Sabu ends in no contest (9:11)
Easily, this was the match of the night...barely. Mysterio was booed at last year's One Night Stand for using his WWE style of wrestling...not his ECW style of wrestling. Aside for one attempted 619, he redeemed himself. And it was very easy to do so with Sabu as the challenger. The hardcore spots made this match what it is.
Mick Foley, Edge, and Lita def. Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, and Beulah (18:47)
Thanks to this match and his match at Wrestlemania 22, Edge is starting to establish himself more as a hardcore wrestler. Heel or not, the fans are responding well. This was the match that had it all. Two hardcore legends, Barbed Wire, Fire, barbed wire bats, barbed wire tables, and the ever popular cat fight.
Balls Mahoney def. Masato Tanaka (5:02)
This was a match that allowed Balls Mahoney to get some exposure he missed out on last year. He didn't disappoint. It was a short match, but it included all of Mahoney's trademark moves.
Rob Van Dam def. John Cena (Champion) (20:39)
This match wasn't just made by the wrestlers. The fans also made this what it was. Since the opening of the PPV, one fan had a sign that said "If Cena Wins, We Riot". That said it all. This match was easily a show of home ring advantage. Cena played his rare heel role well and RVD was a great complement in the ring. This was a great main event and a great close to a great PPV.
Overall: ECW has always been entertaining for one reason: the fans. They were in it throughout the whole PPV and the wrestlers fed off of that the whole night. Overall, this was an amazing PPV and while it wasn't as good as last year's, it was a lot of fun to see.
